Now fully open after an extensive refurbishment by father and daughter team, Chris and Jade Jessop, formerly of The Gate Inn at Sutton-Cum-Lound.
Chris and Jade would like to offer you a warm welcome to their new dining pub venue with exceptional food and a weddings and events space. The Mayflower has been reinvigorated with a stylish and modern interior to provide an exciting space to enjoy fabulous food, grazing experiences and also the perfect venue for exceptional weddings and events.

Serving fabulous food, Wednesday to Saturday it is essential to book a table as we get very busy. Our chalkboard menu changes daily according to the availability of market produce.
Our Grazing menu offers a range of sharing platters for groups of over 6 people to share with great drinks at our marble grazing tables, perfect for light and sociable dining with friends.
On Sundays we offer a great Sunday Carvery from 12 to 8 pm with a choice of beef, pork, turkey, lamb and honey roast gammon. All served with a big selection of specials, salads, coeliac and veggie options and of course great Yorkshire Puddings! Sunday is our walk in day, so there is no need to book.
We welcome well behaved dogs in our outside terrace and we have some inside tables for diners with dogs, these are limited in number so please always call ahead to reserve a dog friendly table.

Our fabulous outside terrace areas are here for you to enjoy the summer, whether you are dining or enjoying a glass of your favourite and just chilling out! You can choose to dine inside or outside when the weather permits and dining outside is always best when accompanied by a chilled glass of fizz or two!
Weddings and functions
The Mayflower has a large function room perfect for weddings and events. Chris and Jade have extensive experience in creating the perfect wedding experience for your special day. Please do call to arrange an appointment to discuss your requirements.
Guest rooms
The Mayflower has 4 guest bedrooms including a bridal suite which are currently under refurbishment and will be available to customers in the next few weeks.
